Goals will be set and built into your lifestyle, so that they are realistic and achievable. Training is centred around the activities you want to do, and if you enjoy the outdoors, may include exploring Dartmoor! Tapping into a natural sense of adventure, and foregoing heavy equipment and machines, I can demonstrate to you how Dartmoor, as a diverse landscape, and using minimal equipment, offers a unique training ground, that reveals challenge and opportunity, as well the most amazing perspective, at every twist and turn! Living in an area of outstanding beauty, my enthusiasm for the moor is almost combustible, and I will guide you uphill and downdale with a sense of purpose and a sense of adventure, that will alter your perception of a workout once and for all.
For those who prefer to train indoors, I can set you up and train alongside you at home or wherever you prefer, so that you are able to exercise regularly, as well as independently, and personally ensure that boredom or dogmatic routines never become part of the training programme!

I am a Level 3 Personal Trainer, Nordic Walking and Pilates Instructor, Cycle Leader, Advanced Gym Instructor and Dartmoor Guide and have been training clients locally for many years. My client base is limited as most of my clients are long-term and trained solely by me, but I offer short-term packages for a special occasion or to kick-start a fitness routine and lifestyle change if you are new to personal training and want to experience the effects of a targeted approach and individual plan.
I am trained in the GP referral award, which means I can also tailor and modify exercise for medical conditions, so do please contact me if you have any concerns (through injury or illness) about choosing the right approach to fitness…. with careful anaylsis and guidance, it is possible to gain enormous health benefit and fitness gains at a time when it is so easy for these aspects to decline.
My role is to restore confidence in what you can achieve, and then show you the route to reaching those goals. Incorporating effective, enjoyable and sustainable exercise into your life….laced with a touch of humour and significant element of fun along the way, we will keep moving a step closer to that “ultimate” version of you…(the destination of your choice) and then, most importantly, keep you there!
