LOVE DARTMOOR FITNESS WEEKENDS

The overall aim of lovedartmoor is to introduce people to the moor, to walk, exercise and keep fit, whilst experiencing everything that I love about Dartmoor.

Dartmoor was designated National Park status in 1951 and represents the largest and wildest area of open country in the South of England...in effect 954 sq kilometres of beautiful and varied terrain in which to explore… providing a natural environment to promote health and well-being.

Dartmoor is characterised by its large expanse of sweeping rugged moorland, peaty bogs and huge granite tors and is highly significant for its wealth of antiquities, remnants of industrial workings, numerous rivers, indigenous wildlife, and associated legends and folklore.

The most effective way to appreciate all that Dartmoor has to offer is on foot, so whether you have a plan for a leisurely stroll to observe and explore the distinctive features of the moor , or you would rather raise the heartbeat and push the boundaries in the great outdoors, (or a bit of both!) lovedartmoor can organise a variety of walks to suit individual or group requirements.

I specialise in leading female groups, Group Fitness training, Personal training and Nordic Walking…, but am by no means exclusive and I have extensive experience in leading groups of various size, age and ability, and am happy to tailor walks to suit respective needs. I also organise regular weekly walks so if you are looking to meet like-minded people, these walks provide an ideal opportunity to join in, get active, and share your mutual interests and enjoyment of the moor.
